Engineering Leader. People First. Always.
Hi. I’m Kevin.
I am an engineering leader with 14+ years of experience building teams that build things that matter — and occasionally building things that beep, blink, or connect to the cloud. Somewhere in the middle of all that I figured out that the best technology comes from the best teams, and the best teams come from people who feel safe, supported, and genuinely excited about the work.
I am a people-first manager. That is not a buzzword I put on a resume — it is how I actually operate. I believe psychological safety is the foundation of great engineering culture, that the manager’s job is to make the team successful not the other way around, and that a team that celebrates wins and owns failures together will out-deliver any group of brilliant individuals working in isolation.
When I am not connecting engineering dots I am probably hanging out with my awesome family, hiking somewhere with my dogs, working on my homelab or Home Assistant dashboards, or building Lego.
Welcome to my corner of the internet. I hope something here is useful to you.
